I have a 39' Insignia bought in 2014 which I am posting about today. I also have a newer 32' Insignia.I like this TV. I have to replace my HDMI Roku streaming stick, with the MHL version of the Roku streaming stick, and then I will be even happier with my setup. Minor inconvenience, I think I didn't know there were two versions of the stick. Hopefully I will take care of that this summer.I am wondering if there is a newer version of the firmware for this model, NS-39D310NA15. As far as I know it is running the original.
It is version 1.07.00. I checked the Insignia website and found the page for this model, but there is no mention of the correct firmware version. My newer 32' Insignia TV connects to the internet to download the newest firmware. This 39' is a few years old, so it is from the generation that does not have a WiFi connection built in, so it is not capable of checking to see if a new firmware version is available.I'm just curious about a potential firmware update; the TV is operating just fine.Thank you! Hello brightblueone,Welcome to Community@ Insignia™!You were correct to check on the website for firmware updates, as that is where they are accessible.

The NS-39D310NA15 does not have a firmware update available, which is common as not much that needs updating on TVs that are not internet capable. Your 32' might be one of our Roku integrated models. If so, it will receive updates periodically because there are lots of apps and processes involved with being connected to the internet that need updating. The lack of an update for the 39' is nothing to worry about.Regards,RyanInsignia™ Support.
