My problem is not about hardware but about 'handshaking' connections between the two devices. Microsoft bluetooth notebook mouse 5000 pin. Since the latest Windows 10 update (March 2018) v1709, OS Built16299.251 - the bluetooth connection between the two connections cannot connect. My Laptop sees the mouse and the mouse sees the laptop but when I try to connect it asks for a password or sometimessays that the password is wrong but I do not have a password and I never needed a password before.When I do searches on the WWW and on Microsoft HELP I only find subjects relating to non-working bluetooth hardware.
